Ben is homemade Carne Asada Fries (oh, and Manny Pacquiao fought I think)

Manny Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton. Any of you hear about this fight?

I figured I should check out the fight, I mean I am an avid boxing fan and I have heard of this Manny Pac Man dude before from my "Mexican" friend Oscar De la Hoya and I heard that this Manny guy was decent. I found this limited edition TEAM PACQUIAO shirt lying around in my room so I brought it along with me.

OK, enough at my poor attempt at sarcasm

I was in San Francisco this weekend, so Grace and I invited Jeff and Crystal over for some food, beer and boxing. Our first ideas was to do a Filipino and Irish theme, which is dumb because Hatton is English, not Irish.

Next idea was homemade Carne Asada Fries. We went with this idea.

My recipe, makes 2 HUGE FUCKING SERVINGS:

4 Large McDonalds French Fries (McDonalds)
1.5lbs Carne Asada (Trader Joes)
1 package 4 cheese Mexican blend (Trader Joes)
1 container of Sour Cream (Trader Joes)
1 container of Guacamole (Trader Joes, though I made some crazy Guac for the chips that I should've used instead)

For a single "serving" (feeds 2 southsiders or 4 northsiders)
Place 2 of the orders of fries on a large plate.
Sprinkle a good amount of cheese on the fries.
Place some chopped Carne Asada on the cheese.
Sprinkle more cheese on top of the Carne Asada.
Place in microwave for 1.5 minutes.
Put dollup (or cup) of Sour Cream on top.
Put a whole mess of Guacamaole on top of that.
Holler at it!!!

Grace also prepared her signature dark chocolate fondue and cut up some strawberries, bananas and lady fingers to dip in it.

This was gone by the time Hatton was TKO'd.

Ricky Hatton looked like a corpse (I was really, really concerned he was mortally injured) after Manny used his level 2 Focus Attack on his chin. There is no wakeup shoryuken after that though.
