Ben is in Italy, Part 2: Venice and Rome, G10 edition!

Here are the pictures from our 4 day stay in Venice and our last day in Rome.

Venice is what I always imagined. It is such a beautiful piece of art, the city itself is a moving, living masterpiece. There were a lot of tourists, but Grace and I were still able to just relax with a Beer and Bellini.

The shots are all with my Canon Powershot G10 as the 5D had died shortly before we left for the Sistine Chapel on our last day in Rome.

The Powershot G10 is an AMAZING "point and shoot" camera. It approaches prosumer DSLR image quality, if you are looking for a non DSLR it is the best choice by far if you don't care about size.

Some highlights:

SPAGHETTI ALA CARBONARA (best dish I had by far, had it 5 times)
Sistine Chapel
Vatican Museums
Gondola Ride on Grand Canal in Venice
San Marco Square
Food and more food (wait for the pics from Grace's camera haha)
Super Buff Lady
The $180.00 Water Taxi Ride to the Airport

Enjoy!
