Ben is upgraded.

Today I completed my digital photography cycle.

I sold my Canon EOS 5D camera on Saturday to Josell, who was in need of a full frame camera. The 5D is a wonderful camera, but I am afflicted.

I am afflicted with the "gotta have it bug" I knew I wanted an upgrade from the 5D. The 5D is WAY more camera than I need, I couldn't even take advantage of a fraction of the ability that camera has. The 5D was not lacking.

I found a deal on Craigslist for a MINT Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II professional full-frame DSLR and bought it. The seller is a professional photographer who worked for Canon Philippines as a prototype tester (www.arnelgarcia.com)

Anyways the 1Ds MkII is probably the best camera I will ever get my hands on if I stay in the non medium or large format area. It features an insane 45-point AF system and amazing picture quality. It retailed for $8000, needless to say I paid a fraction of that. I am a pure amateur and will probably never ever use the full potential of this camera.

I will be buying a EF 24-70mm F/2.8L lens to complete my equipment collection.

Here are some pics of the current "Ben is" wide angle photo system: EOS 1Ds Mark II, EF 17-40mm F/4.0L, 580EX II Speedlite

Also included are pictures of some whores named Jay and Vinji.
