What I learned: The tethering with the 7D and EOS Utility on my Mac is amazing! You tether your camera to the computer via USB and use the Canon EOS Utility software to control the settings on your DSLR. The iMac screen is used as the live view screen, the depth of field preview is invaluable as is the ability to zoom into the pixel level to get the sharpest picture possible. The subject of my picture is my Heckler & Koch fullsize USP 9mm handgun.
Remember gun safety, never place your trigger finger on the trigger unless you want to destroy whatever it is in front of you. The focus here is on the tip of the barrel of the pistol, notice the dramatic loss of focus as you look down the gun.
