The beginning of the day was tough for me, as I was nursing a hangover. We all pretty much were. Most everyone hung out by the pool all day. I journeyed around the facility and took some snaps of the villas and surrounding beauty.
At around 4:00PM a bunch of us went to the church for the rehearsal. The church was a 20 minute cab ride away through the narrow and beautiful roads of the Tuscan hillside. The church was hidden away in a quant village, overlooking some vineyards. The rehearsal went extremely well, and we all learned our responsibilites in the ceremony. Lucky for us it wasn't too warm in the chapel.
The rehearsal dinner was at 7. Grace and I were napping, overslept and arrived late. Dinner was catered by the "Tuscan Mamas" a group of wonderful women who definitely knew their way around a grill, and most importantly understood the art of antipasti. This dinner is where we all discovered our new obsession, DEEP FRIED ZUCCHINI BLOSSOMS. I am looking for places stateside that serve it, I am not holding my breath.
The rehearsal dinner was full of stories, laughter and of course BOOZE. The guys decided to get drunk again, and drunk we got.
