Grace purchased tickets to watch the musical Spring Awakening on Saturday afternoon at the Sacramento Civic Theater.
It was the first time I have ever been to Sacramento and I must say it is a very quiet city, it was a pretty cool experience to see the Capitol in person.
Spring Awakening is an amazing musical, it is very controversial and deals with coming-of-age and sexual discovery. Lea Michele (of Glee fame) started her career playing the role of Wendla in this musical.
We met up with Joe Epling for dinner at Mikuni Sushi in Downtown Sacramento. It was great hearing his stories hahaha, especially the one I never heard (!!!!) Afterwards he gave Grace and I a ride in his new FD RX-7. The RX-7 is a two seater, if you didn't know.
On the way home we passed by Vacaville outlets, Gucci and Nike were the highlights but were really a let down.
