Ben is on dubs!

After selling the Tundra last year there was a void in our collection that was so full of german cars.


To remedy that we immediately purchased a flawless CPO Pearl White 2002 Lexus LX470 from Lexus of Kearny Mesa.


I have ALWAYS wanted one of these things, in fact we had tried to purchase one three times before. Weird, huh? In my mind there is nothing better when it comes to a true dual function SUV. It contrasts and compliments the X5 very well in this regard.


The LX470 is one of the most capable off road vehicles you can get, it is basically a Lexus badged 100 Series Toyota Landcrusier. A 250hp 4.7L V8, full time AWD and computerized locking front and rear differentials allow for this.


I don't see myself doing that much off-roading so the great thing is the LX470 is super luxurious. Lexus stopped at nothing to make this truck, they used the best leather and wood for the interior and included a Mark Levinson sound system with an integrated touch navigation system. It also has room for 7 in case we all roll to Vegas again soon (Let's go!)


My only mod was a set of DDM 6000K 55w H3 HID lights for the lowbeams. However, last week I bought a set of 20" Tundra Limited (2007+) wheels (5 x 150mm) and Pirelli Scorpion tires (275/55-20) and installed them on the LX470, I fitted the Lexus centercaps on there, mounted them on the car and it looks OEM stock! I love the look, and it makes the car look 100 times newer.
